This two-day tour combines a visit to the main sites of the Sacred Valley with a full tour of Machu Picchu. This itinerary allows for a more relaxed pace, avoiding a single, long day of travel. By spending the night in Aguas Calientes, you can arrive at Machu Picchu early in the morning.

The first day is dedicated to the Sacred Valley. After departing from Cusco, you will travel by private vehicle to visit the archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. The tour includes a buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, you will board a train from Ollantaytambo for the scenic trip to Aguas Calientes, where you will check into your hotel for the night.

Day two focuses entirely on Machu Picchu. You will take an early bus up to the citadel for a guided tour that explains the history and function of the site’s most important structures. Afterward, you will have additional time to see more of the complex on your own before returning to Cusco by train and bus in the evening.
