This four-day tour package is designed to cover the most important historical sites in and around Cusco. The itinerary is structured to include the main attractions of the city, the key locations in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and a complete visit to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. This tour is based out of hotels and uses tourist transportation.

The program begins with your arrival in Cusco, followed by a guided tour of the city’s Inca and colonial landmarks, such as the Qoricancha and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. The following day is a full-day excursion into the Sacred Valley, with stops at the ruins and market of Pisac and the town of Ollantaytambo. From there, you will travel by train to Aguas Calientes.

The third day is dedicated to a guided tour of Machu Picchu. After the visit, you will return by train and bus to Cusco. The package includes hotel accommodations, some meals, all entrance fees with the tourist pass, and guided services in a shared group format. The final day includes a transfer to the airport for your departure.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Cusco City Tour

Upon arrival in Cusco: Reception at the airport, assistance and transfer to selected hotel. You will have free morning and in the afternoon We will visit the center of the city and then We wil go around the Cusco city.

Between 13:20 and 13:30 pm will begin the guided tour through the city, where you will have the opportunity to visit 6 sites, the first “Qoricancha” (golded place), currently Santo Domingo Convent, a place that keeps Inside one of the most important religious centers of the Inca period, the Cathedral, a place that has religious paintings of the Cusqueña School being in number about 300, among other expressions of art.

Then visit to the surrounding areas of Cusco City, to visit 4 places that have remained intact over the years and have been used by the Incas for different activities; Sacsahuaman (puma’s head) majestic place, with impressive works in stone, been the heaviest 120 tons, carried by workers from remote Inca quarries, a place where the famous Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun is celebrated every year, Qenqo (laberinth), and finally Pucapucara Tambomachay, place dedicated to the water. End of the tour and return to the hotel.

The tour will start at 8:20am our staff will waiting at reception of your hotel then We will go to board the bus along the Sacred Valley to Pisac ruins until. Beautiful walk through original Inca trails, observing the intact platforms of the Incas. Visit the town of Pisac and its market center. Lunch buffet. The tour Continue to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo (ex military, religious, administrative and agricultural Inca) After finishing our visit in Ollantaytambo We will go to board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (small city near Machupicchu), our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to your hotel.

Accommodation in your hotel

After breakfast at your hotel you will take 20-minutes by bus ride to the hidden temple of the Incas to enjoy a guided tour of the site. Your expert guide will tell you all about Machu Picchu’s fascinating history and legends… The famous lost city of the Incas is one of the most magical and mysterious places on Earth. Situated on the spine of a jungle-cloaked granite peak towering some 600 metres above an entrenched meandering of the roaring river below, the site is frequently shrouded in misty clouds pierced by the powerful equatorial sun. Constructed from precisely sculptured granite blocks carefully joined with the projecting exposed stone of the surrounding mountain, the site may well be the finest architectural achievement of the new world. Tour around the archeological site, its craft industry, agriculture, housing, prisons, royal tomb, the temple of the sun, Inti Huatana, sacred place, the fourth of the three windows, the sundial, the gazebo, etc..

In the Afternoon Get the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station then We wil take a car from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.

Overnight in Cusco.

After an early breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred at the airport for your journey home or on to your next destination.

  • 03 Breakfast: Breakfast is provided at the hotel on Days 2, 3, and 4.
  • 01 Lunch Buffet: The buffet lunch on the Sacred Valley tour (Day 2) is included.
  • Tourist pass (entrances fees): The Boleto Turístico is included, which covers entrance to multiple sites in Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
  • Tourist bus: All tours are conducted in a shared tourist-class bus.
  • Professional guide: A licensed, professional guide is provided for all tours.
  • Flights to/from Cusco: International or domestic flights to get to and from Cusco are not included.
  • Meals: All lunches (except on Day 2) and all dinners are not included.
  • Water or any other Drink: Beverages are not included with any meal.
  • Phone calls: Personal expenses like phone calls or laundry are not included.
  • Snacks, tips: Gratuities for guides and drivers are optional and not included.
  • Travel Insurance: Personal travel insurance is not included and is highly recommended.
  • Huayna Picchu / Machu Picchu Mountain: Entrance tickets to climb these additional mountains are not included and must be booked far in advance.
